 All of our employee’s credentials are  investigated. We conduct a background check including criminal and  civil, reference check, fingerprint clearance card, driving record, and  detailed interview process. We require our employees to have 2 years  minimum experience.  We conduct regular, unannounced supervisory checks on all caregivers and maintain close contact with all of our employees. 

 Faithful Caregivers offers a choice of payment options for your convenience. We  invoice for our services on a bi-weekly basis for the prior two weeks  and can send the invoice directly to the client, their family, a trusted  advisor or long-term care insurance company. Our invoices are detailed  with the dates and times of service along with the caregiver who  provided care on each day. Most of our clients are "private pay," which means they submit  payment directly to us each billing cycle. For your convenience, we  accept payment by both checks and credit cards. 

 Yes. We can visit seniors anywhere they  need care. During hospital stays, we can provide round-the-clock  companionship and monitoring for safety. Many residents of independent  living communities also hire our caregivers to provide the personal  one-to-one attention they need. We can even accompany seniors while they  are on vacation for a short period of time.

No, we also provide services to new mothers,  individuals with disabilities, victims of accidents, people recovering  from a recent illness or surgery, and anyone who needs a little help  getting around the house. Our care professionals specialize in providing  a full range of care, from peer-level companionship and hospital  sitting services to high-tech pediatric and quadriplegic care. Anytime,  any place. 

If you hire privately, you become the employer of the caregiver.  The following are just a few of the things you must take into  consideration when hiring privately.  

• Once you hire a caregiver privately, you are responsible for all state and federal payroll taxes.
• You must obtain Workers Compensation Insurance or make sure your  private caregiver comes with insurance. If not, you could be responsible  for any injuries claimed to have happened while working at your home.  How will you pay for any claims of disability if they are filed against  you?
• What happens if the private person doesn’t show up for work? Are you prepared to stay home and take care of your loved one?
• If the care is for you, are you prepared to be left alone without care if the caregiver does not show up?
• Are you capable of running a comprehensive, national criminal background check?
• Is the private caregiver bonded against theft?
• Who will supervise him/her?

Yes. If requested, Faithful Caregivers will arrange a meeting with a  preselected caregiver. If at any time or for any reason you want to  change caregivers, we will do so at no charge until you are completely  satisfied.
